This is Caroline with the new Artists' Backpack. The focus in this backpack activity is on shapes. Enclosed are 3 books to read with your child. Laminated papers are included showing many of the shapes we learn in Montessori and the correct names of the shapes that the children learn. Please use these shape names as you do your family art activity. Please include some of your artwork and the response sheet in the backpack when your child brings it back so your child can share them with the class. Please complete the activity in an evening or two so we can keep it rotating. The youngest children will also participate in this art activity since they have also learned about shapes. Have fun!
